Tonight's concert, part of the NEW series at Juilliard, features works by Boulez and Schoenberg on the anniversary of their 100th and 150th birthdays, respectively. Sur Incises by Pierre Boulez, which was first performed at Juilliard in 1998, which was also the work's United States premiere. The program and audio recording of the December 9, 1998 concert are available to the Juilliard community in JMedia. Tonight's performance will be conducted by David Robertson, who also conducted the 1998 premiere. The performing ensemble tonight is made up of musicians representing both Juilliard and the New York Philharmonic. Among the musicians performing tonight, pianist Eric Huebner and harpist June Han also performed in the 1998 premiere.
